Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ad Clanker (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use adclanker.com. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

Your email address and a hashed password when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Content you submit

Website URLs, actor photos, product images, and motion reference videos you upload to generate ads. This content is stored in your account and used to produce your Output.

Usage data

Ad generation sessions, features used, and activity timestamps. We store a 30-day rolling history of your sessions.

Payment information

Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe stores it securely on their servers. We receive a Stripe customer ID, plan ID, and subscription status.

Technical data

IP address, browser type, and device type. We use this to detect abuse and ensure platform security.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and deliver the Ad Clanker service
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, support replies)
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms
  • Debug and improve the service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, ever.

3. AI Processing of Your Content

Content you submit — website URLs, actor images, product photos — is sent to third-party AI providers to generate your ads:

  • Anthropic Claude processes your website and business details to write ad scripts.
  • FAL AI (Nano Banana Pro and Seedance models) processes your actor images and scripts to generate video.

These providers act as subprocessors under our instruction. We do not authorise them to use your content for any purpose other than providing the service. Please review their privacy policies for details on their own data practices:

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only as necessary to operate the service or as required by law:

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Session data (ad generation history) is automatically deleted after 30 days. Generated video files may be retained longer in your ad history. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hi@adclanker.com.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for session authentication (Firebase session cookies). These are strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics trackers.

7. Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No internet transmission is completely secure — if you suspect a security issue, contact us immediately at hi@adclanker.com.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights including:

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Objection to or restriction of certain processing
  • Data portability — receiving a copy of your data in a structured format
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 10. Children’s Privacy

Ad Clanker is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
