Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do with Ad Clanker. It applies to all users and supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

1. Permitted Uses

You may use Ad Clanker to:

Generate video advertisements for legitimate products and services you own or represent
Create promotional content for your own business, clients, or projects
Experiment with AI ad generation for personal or professional development

2. Prohibited Content

You must not use Ad Clanker to create, promote, or distribute content that:

Is illegal or harmful

Advertises illegal products, services, or activities in any jurisdiction
Promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, or self-harm
Involves controlled substances, illegal weapons, or counterfeit goods
Constitutes fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive advertising
Violates sanctions, export controls, or financial regulations

Violates third-party rights

Infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, or patent rights
Uses the likeness, voice, or identity of a real person without their explicit consent — including public figures, celebrities, and other individuals
Impersonates another business, brand, or individual
Uses actor images you do not have rights to use for commercial advertising

Is hateful or exploitative

Contains hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
Sexualises or exploits minors in any way — zero tolerance, reported to law enforcement
Degrades, demeans, or harasses specific individuals or groups

Is sexually explicit

Adult content, pornography, or sexually explicit material of any kind

Violates advertising platform rules

Makes unsubstantiated health or financial claims (e.g. “cure cancer,” “guaranteed returns”)
Violates TikTok, Meta, YouTube, or Google advertising policies in ways that are intentional or systematic
Misleads consumers about the nature, origin, or safety of a product

3. Prohibited Platform Behaviour

You must not:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models, prompts, or platform code
Use automated scripts, bots, or bulk-generation tools beyond the normal interface without written permission
Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or access controls
Share account credentials or allow multiple users to use a single account
Use Output to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve AI models in competition with Ad Clanker
Attempt to probe, scan, or test for security vulnerabilities
Resell access to the platform without a written reseller agreement

4. AI Disclosure

Ad Clanker generates AI-synthesised video content including AI-generated actors, environments, and voices. When publishing ads on social media platforms, you are responsible for complying with any AI disclosure requirements on those platforms. Some platforms (including TikTok and Meta) require labelling AI-generated content. See our AI Disclosure Guide for platform-specific guidance.

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content on Ad Clanker that you believe violates this policy, email us at hi@adclanker.com with a description and any relevant details. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

6. Consequences of Violations

We reserve the right to, without notice:

Remove content that violates this policy
Suspend or permanently terminate your account
Report illegal activity to relevant law enforcement authorities
Pursue legal remedies for damages caused by violations

Termination for AUP violations does not entitle you to a refund. See our Refund Policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time to reflect changes in law, platform capabilities, or community standards. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site.
